Coach Cook has the Husker VB program as close to the Husker 1992-93 FB team as any team I can remember

GOAT level HC with a career of battles won & lost in the highest & hottest of fires ... driven to improve beyond even past Hall of Fame level in order to max out the resources & X & 0's & training & recruiting advantages needed to push past a tier of top level competition that themselves are operating near yearly championship level (Badgers/Stanford/rapidly improving SEC top end teams/etc.)

Freshmen QB / Setter that appear to be the total & complete real deal ...

Skill / Scoring weapons again built around super duper star freshmen (LP / Harper Murray) & still young & growing supporting players (but among their own ranks themselves Olympic / All American 1st team level in Beeson & Alleck).

Defensive wizardy led by genius level secondary/back end players (Mike Brown / Lexi Rodriguez)

Coaching Staff built to maximize what will be a roster that continues to add top-3 level recruiting classes/transfers to the roster even as this unit can & may return in its entirety.

The team played at near peak competitive Nirvana tonight - the way the Husker FB team used to so beautifully and aggressively & smoothly dominate foes in such fashion as to have the opponent completely defeated mentally before the whistle ever blew.

Going to be a special next handful of years ... and NO matter the case, Cook is leaving the program at this very, very APEX - GOAT level & we will transition to a HC that is totally & completely ready for such a task.

It's just a blessing to get to see the man coach the ladies, much like TO
