Does anyone have any real information/inclination/facts/evidence he would actually come out of the booth???

Not many on here have any information beyond their gut. But I can pretend to know what someone is thinking and put odds on it because why not?

He looks pretty fat and happy on Sundays or whatever talking about CFB and eating...Guy has gained weight and looks like he loves it

Guys that hit the booth, don't tend to come out of retirement.

Just a hunch based on the fact 90% of these guys stay there.

Jesus indeed. You’re basing your statement on him looking fat and happy. Also your 90% statistic. A sure sign when people are pulling shit out of their asses when they make up statistics and actually put a number on it.

Who has left the booth and come back to coaching?

Cowher? (sp) Gruden? Bradshaw? Aikman?

Pouring my vodka and cran. Glorious

You threw in three quarterbacks so that’s a little odd.

Urban Meyer was on TV for a season.

In several cases, your premise is true because the guys who go to broadcast go there because they are no longer in demand as coaches.

Gruden is probably your best scenario but he retired/resigned on his own. He’s definitely still in demand. Cowher is the same. Resigned on his own.

The other guys, I would suggest are not in demand so there are no compelling coaching jobs for them to take.

My point is, they don't come out of the booth to coach again.

90%.

That is all.

So you use two coaches and a bunch of players that were ready for retirement as your examples?

If you want a coach, how about Dick Vermeil. My gut tells me that there is a 96.27% chance that Chip is coaching somewhere next year.

Vilma said on some sports show that Chip has been recruiting him to coach for him at UCLA or Florida. There is also a lot of talk out there that he has been in communication with Florida.

I think he lands at one of those two spots. Most likely Florida. I think Jim Mora will be back.
