Fellow scrollers:
Heading out to Charleston, SC in a week for a wedding and since I've never been, figured I'd come to the board and get some recs. Pretty much have the golf courses and breweries already planned out so mostly looking for the tour and restaurant tips.
Are the paid walking tours worth it or can you just as easily stumble around and find the good stuff? Ideally would like to visit a plantation or two, Fort Sumter, etc.
Restaurants-When on either coast I try to find the best seafood places I can, but would be open to any good local spots. Down for anything from dives to high end spots and in between.
Bars/nightlife-Most of the nights will be with the wedding party but looking like we will have a few nights to ourselves as well so any good beach bars, lounges, etc.
Thanks in advance
