Chargers are imploding

The Jags beat the Chargers by 28 points in the regular season. That’s a 4 touchdown decisive victory in the NFL…now they have to come back down 27 points to win by 1…I just don’t understand how people buy into this.

I do not get the connection you're trying to make here. If memory serves that game was in the first or second week of the season???...how can you draw any conclusions from that about anything in terms of fixing games...

Buffalo was impressed by San Diego's effort yesterday it seems.
Bills offense finally woke up. And Buffalo was fortunate to recover that muffed punt - which they clearly did, despite the Dolphins’ coach crying about it for 20 minutes.

McDaniel the Wonderdork can’t decide what to run on 4th and six inches, apparently.

McDaniel did not help his young Quarterback, seems like plays came in late for him

They’re still the same teams. A 4 touchdown win in the NFL is very decisive. Meaning that jags team should be much better or have multiple matchup advantages over the chargers. I just don’t think you would see such drastically different outcomes between the same teams in a real league in the same season, and it happens way too often in the NFL.

There have been a lot of "the NFL is fixed" comments lately around the sports talk scene. I ain't buying it. That last spot in the Buffalo game seemed a little questionable though. It seemed he was about a foot short, AND the referee that spotted it was about a foot short of the mark. Was the mark where the first down off?

If someone actually watched the game, they would have noticed that the Jags trailed by such a margin due to 4 1st half turnovers. Once they started playing cleaner football, they dominated the Chargers, much like they did in earlier in the season.

Either that or the NFL scripted the entire thing because it makes perfect sense that the league would spend time, money, and resources doing that.

Yeah I wanted the Bills to win, but that was awful. Why do college and NFL games even use a chain gang anymore? They hand out first downs like Halloween candy.

Did the Vikings get a different script than the Giants?
Imagine paying a person a Kirk Cousins salary to throw the ball 3 yards to your slowest receiver on 4th and 8 in the playoffs. If this were any kind of real life he would be cut in the locker room.

So now the fix was in for the Giants to win and not the Vikings? Earlier it was for the Vikings. Just trying to keep up with the flip flopping that you come up with depending on outcomes

As I’ve said, it’s not 100% predictable or it would be too easy for anyone. Things also change based on what happens. I leaned Vikings after a clearly phantom roughing call, but I wasn’t locked on it. That pass before 3rd and 8 was pretty under thrown by Kirk too for an easy deflection.

I think people severely underestimate how good NFL QBs are and they damn sure are not throwing that pass on 4th and 8 from “choking”. The clearest part of that was that it was a perfectly accurate, seemingly predetermined throw to Hockenson. Perfectly accurate and nowhere near the sticks and leading him toward the sidelines for no chance at a 1st. I’m still working on my skills to spot the agenda and will keep calling it out when I get the chance.

It feels like no matter the outcome on any game....you frame an argument it was fixed after the fect....like no matter what happens.

Wait - they change the script in the middle of games?

And I had no idea NFL QB’s are highly skilled.

I’m learning so much!

But it begs the question: why bother scripting the results of the game if you just change the script in the middle?

I don’t see any other option if I believe they’re all fixed. I’m going to point out my reasoning for my beliefs like anyone would. I’ll admit there are a few games here and there with endings that would be tough to script and have me really questioning how they’re doing it, but the vast majority end in a way that would be really easy for players/coaches/refs to just screw up on purpose, which I believe is why we see so many mind blowing mistakes by professionals that put their entire life into this game.

Nobody is changing the script in the middle and no one ever said that. You are purposely failing at listening and talking for a pathetic attempt to be witty. At least I hope for your sake it’s on purpose.

32 nfl teams x 53 players each (most just out of college) + all the coaching staffs

Man that is one tight lipped league to keep the fact that games are scripted under wraps

So help me understand what you meant when you said: “Things also change based on what happens.”

So do they or do they not change the script?

Oh, and you’re right. I’m trying to be witty. I’m clearly making fun of you. You are so committed to the absolutely insane idea idea that the NFL is scripted/rigged. You make absolutely no sense whatsoever and keep changing your story whenever you are shown to be completely wrong. I know we’re not supposed to make fun of people like you, but damn - sometimes I can’t help myself. Sorry about that.

I meant my opinion changes. Being somewhat wrong about one drive where I said which way I was leaning after one play isn’t going to move the needle, bub.

“Oh I’m right?! I guess you admit your attempt to be witty is pathetic, like I said while being right.”

^^^that’s what you’re doing, see how dumb it is?^^^

I definitely see how dumb it is, bub.
