Huh? I was just watching. I thought Okie Lite ran the clock out?
glad we had wyoming this week, I look at the games and it seems like powerhouse vs cupcakes week. wyoming is at least a respectable team. bama and 0u are playing teams I never heard of.
but after that 0u has ohio state, texas, baylor, and k-state in a row..thats seems like a tough stretch.

Ruroh Scoobie.....somebody's head will roll.should not have received an extra play.... apparently, the game CAN end on an offensive penalty...whereas it cannot on a defensive.
Awesome play though.
maybe, I just never really heard of a western kentucky beforeWestern Ky would beat the hell out of Wyoming
Holy crap. I changed channels after he threw the ball away. I saw your post about the game and went to my ESPN app and it still showed OSU winning. I was so confused. Haha.4th and 13, Okie State's QB dropped back and heaved a ball to nobody. Was flagged for intentional grounding. The referee on the field gave CMU an untimmed down from their own 49.
Mike Perrera back in the studio says they should not have received an extra play.... apparently, the game CAN end on an offensive penalty...whereas it cannot on a defensive.

ESPN must know the rule book better than the game officials.Holy crap. I changed channels after he threw the ball away. I saw your post about the game and went to my ESPN app and it still showed OSU winning. I was so confused. Haha.
I don't think so dudeWestern Ky would beat the hell out of Wyoming
until the northwestern loss this weekmakes that northwestern loss last week look not-as-bad...
they may have blown the call according to the rule book. but what is exactly the penalty for the offense in that situation. according to the book you gain a benefit for breaking a rule. what sense does that make?
They should put an addendum that says if the loss of down penalty creates a turnover, then there should be one untimed down by the team that receives the ball. I thought the same thing yesterday when I heard the rule. The team that gets the penalty isn't really being penalized. It makes zero sense. I've been arguing it with a buddy ever since it happened. I'm not sure how to rewrite the rule, but I think they should.
You have no clue. Western Ky is a hell of alot better program than Wyoming right now. Not even close...I don't think so dude
Failing to grasp your point here... Why does this matter? We beat a bad Wyoming team. Alabama beat apparently 'a hell of a good team' in Western Kentucky. You have no clue. Western Ky is a hell of alot better program than Wyoming right now. Not even close...
So OSU had a grounding penalty on 4th down of the last play of the game, which allowed CMU an untamed down? Why were they throwing on 4th down with a lead there anyway?

So? We should be impressed that Alabama beat a team from Conference USA?
just a few seconds left and I'm sure the QB was instructed to just chuck the ball as far as he could and out of bounds to let the clock run out while the ball is in the air. We have seen more of this strategy in the last few years.
