Got wind that Nebraska’s highest-rated commit, tight end Carter Nelson is visiting Notre Dame today. As we reported here a couple weeks ago, Notre Dame is going after him hard and is a real threat.
Their pitch is two-fold: 1) ND’s floor of wins is 7 or 8 yearly right now and that’s what Nebraska is just aspiring to get to.
2) They have a much stronger history at the position than Nebraska/Matt Rhule. Both are powerful pitches.
He’s also got great relationships with their commits and coaches.
This will be a fight.
