Cards Ax Kingsbury

The NFL is becoming a league of 6'3-5 inch QBs with some mobility and a rifle arm:

-Burrow
-Allen
-Herbert
-Lamar Jackson
-Kenny Pickett
-Matt Stafford

These smaller guys like Wilson/Tua and Murray can't hold up. Kingsbury made the wrong call on Murray - damn season is 17 games and there are linebackers that run like DBs and DBs that hit like LB. Anyone who runs consistently will get injured - no doubt.

Don't need to be 6'3"; I don't think Dak, Mahomes, or Hurts are that tall (but close). Tua couldn't stay healthy at Alabama which would have been a red flag if I'm looking at drafting him high.

Mahomes is a freak and Hurts is a marine - and he may not last either. If I was a GM I am looking for the next Justin Herbert (?Stroud).

The one guy who broke the mold was Drew Brees: 6'0", not mobile, good but not great arm. 13 Pro Bowls and all time completion percentage leader. Good luck finding another one though.

Once the video game clause was first exposed then removed, this was the only result for the season. Murray got his bag and frankly on games looks like he wants to win but doesn’t look like the practice days and time to prepare are used on Cardinals activities.
The league caught up with Kliff's simplified system and Kyler's limitations. Several respected analysts have said that the Cards were basically playing street ball when Kyler's first read was taken away. About the same amount of structure as your average intramural flag football passing offense.

6-2 minimum. Herbert looks like the ultimate robo QB.

If the league would just allow the cardinals to play games on XBox, they might have gotten to .500

Who are the best deserving candidates? Possibly Harbaugh, Dan Quinn, Sean Payton. Who else? Someone please give Eric Bienemy a shot.

What do you mean by "deserving" Because if you have to start Kyler for the next few years I want to know what a coach did to have to "deserve" that? Run over somebody's puppy? Have an affair with the owner's wife?

Kingsbury is just a bad coach to begin with. Dude was at Texas Tech with Patrick Mahomes in college and never won more than 7 games in a season with him. His best year was his first year where they beat up on the Little Sisters of the poor of the Big XII with Baker Mayfield and once they played the real teams got thrown out at 8-5. Kyler might not be good either but hiring Kingsbury was always dumb.

I think hes a fine coach....the decision to go out and get Kyler Murry was one i didnt understand then and i guess people dont understand now
