Can we please get rid of the BS Wal-Mart virus on this site?!!

Every other time I come here on my phone, I get a pop-up that I can't back out of. I have to completely close the Tab and start over. WTF Yahoo?!!
Happens to me on a number of sites. I think you're better off clearing our your cache/history to help with this problem.

Don't have any problem with any other sites but this one. Rarely do I ever get pop-ups like this irritating Wal-Mart pop-up.

It might be that your phone is compromised. Run a good AV scanner on it, clear cache, cookies, etc

Adblock FTW! I dont know how anybody keeps a clean computer without adblock

Will an Ad-Blocker drain my battery any more than it's already being drained?
shouldnt, your web pages might load slighly slower (hardly noticable) because it filters out the garbage. I get Zero popups and Zero ads on this site or any other for that matter.

I rarely come here on my computer. Almost always on my phone. Is CCleaner the best for phones?
I believe they have adblock for phones too. I dont use phones for internet often. I have a computer in every room of the house plus a laptop. So i wouldnt be the best source for that info. I believe Chrome and Opera for mobile both have an adblock extension you can download for mobile device. I know i use it on PC Chrome + Adblock

Did a quick google search by typing "Adblock Android" and this came up:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjMmuTdgvbYAhVQgK0KHfuAC6UQFgg5MAI&url=https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.adblockplus.browser&hl=en&usg=AOvVaw0ug61lTRScxxNVjCAtI6MX

apparently adblockplus makes a browser for android, i didnt google iphone but i am sure if you type "adblock iphone" similar results would happen. Just a guess.

@Hoosker Du i looked up for iphone and they ahve an adblock of sorts by one of the 2 most reputable adblock producers as well. Battery on the phone shouldnt be any different, shouldnt be running anything in the background should only run well on android it is a stand alone browser so obviously unless the browser is open and loading a page then it is being used.

Adblock just filters out certain scripts when loading a page, it isnt something that is constantly running.

I seem to have a problem w/ the Amazon pop-up too. After reading many of the responses, I checked the Apple app store for Adblock/Adblock Plus. There are multiple apps called Adblock but is there a one that is recommended out of all of these? TIA.

Adblock, Adblock plus are 2 different developers. I have used both Adblock and Adblock plus. Adblock is offered by "getadblock.com" Adblock plus is good too. Either should take care of ya.

This is the only site I have this problem with. Every time I come on, I get that Wal-Mart ad. Then I have to close browser and reopen it. It goes away.
