Even if Holmes, McMillan, Lattimore, Conley, and Samuel all go pro, they're still at a max of 16 without further attrition before signing day. I expect Lattimore, McMillan, and Samuel to go pro, but the others are questionable IMO.
I guess the real question is, which 4-6 players suddenly develop debilitating injuries and must go on medical hardship:
There's a very simple fix for this. The NCAA should independently examine each player who is set to go on medical hardship, OR allow schools to remove players from the 85 limit, leave the team, but keep their scholarship, for any reason.
