Looking at the rich history of Huskers who attended Central, it's sobering to think that, in the Rivals era, it's basically only produced the Grixbys, David Horne, D.J. Jones, and Gunn. I've been out of state for a long time, so I was hoping someone could explain to me what happened.
It seems like North has really risen to prominence in the same time period. Has that had something to do with it? My understanding is that OPS kids can pick where they attend, so it would make sense if a coach like Larry Martin got a good thing going, there would be a snowball effect.
