Cameron Brown

Not Tuco, but they want 1 more

No worries! Does it depend on what side of the ball Chase Williams winds up on? Because as it is right now, they have Moore, Allen, and Brown as dedicated WR's (which is a hell of a haul if you ask me!).

I would be good with one more. Hoping KJJ gets back in the fold as well.

Just read the VIP thoughts on 247; even anticipating KJJ coming back, they want to take a 4th dedicated receiver in the class. They're looking hard at Crocker, as apparently he has a good relationship with Bookie and Moore.

Here is a kid who could have gone anywhere. And his head was clearly turned a bit when the offers starting rolling in from teams like OSU and Bama. So he paused, pondered ... and still chose Nebraska. Just more proof that if you have the right coaches you can recruit elite talent to Lincoln. Soooo tired of hearing how a pro style offense won't work here because you can't get the elite talent here.

It helps when you don't have coaches that only want to recruit from their car.

My recollection is he had an offer at least from One of them (if not both) the first time as well. I remember morgan747 saying he had no good offers, and I checked and saw how wrong he was.

I am 99% sure he got the Alabama offer the very next day after he committed and he decommitted right after receive evening the Ohio State offer (I remember him saying it had nothing to do with his choice to decommit).

Chase is all CB.

---Big Time OV: Isaiah Crocker (consensus 4-star WR) who will be in Lincoln for the Arkansas State game in week one. He is from Sacramento, CA ( Lived there for three years) and is 6'2" and 180 lbs. Munson said he is a stud on film. If the Huskers land him and Brown and throw in Moore and Allen and Nebraska would have one of the top WR classes in the nation. He has offers from everyone (i.e. Alabama). Incredible offer list! He has become very close to Bookie and Joshua Moore. He thinks Keith Williams will win again. Isaiah refers to Coach Williams as his 'Uncle'. That is how close he has become to coach Williams. They Face-Time each other every day.

7. You've got to tip your hat to head coach Mike Riley and wide receivers coach Keith Williams in the way they recruited Brown. After he decommitted they could have gone a different direction, but they stayed after him and beat out the likes of Ohio State, Missouri, Georgia and Alabama once again for the impressive wideout.

Well, make that 100% sure... I went back and looked, and you are right. My recollection did happen as well, but it was 2 days after his commit. When I looked he had an offer from Alabama. But again, 2 days had passed by the time I saw Morgan747's comment.

Good catch.

I think you all suck and are unaware of my current test scores and GPA. I am as good to go as Blades and have better odds than Watts to qualify.

It's all good! It just speaks to coach Dub's evaluation at the position which was the whole point!

How do they call Brown a consensus 4* player when he's rated a 3* on rivals?

Also, when is rivals going to get their act together and recognize his potential?
