Caleb Lightbourn

When he needs to air one out, he can't do it. He doesn't have the leg for it. He did well tonight.

Really? You could see that tonight? First punt went 53 yards, the other three were downed inside the 20...

Huh? Certainly had his (understandable) struggles last year, but at a fairly critical point in the Oregon game last year, he boomed a 58 yard punt that was only returned 5 yards. I'd say he has the leg for it. I think his biggest problem last year was trying to do too much finesse at times and instead just shanking it. Looks like he's improved quite a bit on the finesse part.

He did do a good job tonight. Noticed that he was also taking some leadership off the field to, pumping up teammates. It was good to see.

Gotta love his awkward dive into the end zone in an 'attempt' to tackle the guy that took his punt back for a TD.

I haven't seen a replay, but at the time I thought it was all for show and looked funny.

Hey...with all the Diaco bashing going on....let's give him a little credit here...he is responsible for coaching up Lightbourn. If calm nerves and confidence is Diaco's expertise, our D will get better!

Can't believe someone could improve on Read's coaching.
