I updated the Countdown to 105 thread which now includes 5 players. Includes Butler and Gbayor.

I'm afraid this might get ugly.

I'm with you.

We were 6-6.

There isn't one player that isn't replaceable. Even DR, but he would be the one that I think would be the hardest hit to the team moving forward if he did leave.

I don’t think 105 is the number we need to get to. I think it’s like 95-98 so we can bring in some developed transfers to fill holes and drive competition.

I'll just keep track daily and see where we're at on Jan 1 when the portal ends, then we can go from there.

Nothing wrong with that 95-98 number you use, cause there's always that spring portal to see what's available for areas of need.

looking back at the last 2 decades of pass happiness..I would say the defense has been easier to establish a identity.
that said,
if we are going to be indeed pass happy, don't be doing it half assed...

Donovan Raiola is a good OL coach. Our line improved as the year went along. We’ve got some good young kids who will be ready to take over.

We’re gonna find out if this culture is strong. I think it’s a mistake more often than not for most players. If they’re not succeeding where they are, it’s unlikely they will have success at the same level somewhere else. I mostly make exceptions for quarterbacks, Because a really talented guy can get stuck behind an entrenched starter. I don’t fault those guys for not wanting to wait because their time may never come. It’s like being talented in the corporate world. Your competitor may be more willing to elevate you.
