Buffs fan here...coming in peace. The TCU game was one game in a long season against a team that matched up favorably philosophy-wise. They were stronger up front on both lines, but we manage to make enough plays to win. Nebraska is MUCH stronger up front than the Buffs. I thought you were tougher and stronger than Minnesota, but bad plays cost you the game. I expect a very tough outing for CU, and it wouldn't surprise me to see a Neb win. We'll see, but I think this one on Saturday is going to be a dog fight.
Thanks for taking the time. I tend to agree with everything you said. Totally surprised how much TCU dropped in talent. Colorado has some good athletesBuffs fan here...coming in peace. I appreciate that you are civil with your post. I was shocked how well your offense played, and you have quite a few play-makers. Truthfully don't expect NU to hang with the Buffs. Our defense is better than it has been for quite a while, but the offense is the problem. OL still has issues, WR is not as good as last yr, QB is an excellent runner, but not a great passer - doesn't see the field very well and stares down his receivers, leading to INT's. Rhule will probably be a good coach for us, but I don't see it happening this yr. Congrats on a big win Sat. and with it being at Boulder at 5000' elevation - I'm pretty sure you're going 2-0. Thank you for coming in peace. How did you determine Nebraska is much stronger up front than the Buffs? I predict if Nebraska coaches choose to throw it 20 times or more that Travis Hunter will make 5 interceptions. It won’t take much to topple Nebraska, they always beat themselves with turnovers and penalties.Buffs fan here...coming in peace. Nebraska has been getting run over on the lines for many years as well. I call it a draw at those positions. We are paper thin up front on both sides and have not proven much. Had TCU committed to the run and tried to control the clock, I imagine we would have lost. For years now, our "big guys" have not looked like everyone else's. Every team has seemed bigger and stronger, at least from the TV perspective. Finally having a QB with a quick release has helped a lot. But many years of history of getting run over have convinced me the Buffs are behind in the strength department on the lines.
Travis Hunter will have 3 picks by halftime if they sling it. Just run the damn ball.If we commit to the run, it should be a close game.
We will have to control the clock, keep your playmakers off the field, and try to win it in the 4th.
If we insist again on having our QB sling it all over the place, he'll throw 3 picks at least and it will be a laugher.
I doubt Sims magically stops throwing picks. Gonna be rough if the offense can't figure it out.I feel like we are fooked for this year

When did you live in York? I lived there for 9 years from 2000-2009… not many choose to live there. And I have to say, I love your board! A lot of spirit and activity. I love your state and lived in York for about 5 years. Daughter lived in Chadron/Scottsbluff for a year. Amazing people, great place to live!
Wow, a sCUm fan that isn't a total piece of shît. You are one in a million my friend. I wish you good luck Saturday. I went to college there from 93-97, then stayed most of another year while my wife was finishing school. Was there when they painted the water tower. So I was there for one of the pinnacles of Husker FB!When did you live in York? I lived there for 9 years from 2000-2009… not many choose to live there.![]()

I think it's great. Much like basketball, I don't think today's game is truly more fast-paced than it used to be, mainly because of the lengthy and frequent media timeouts and replay reviews.Curious how the fan base feels about Hunter playing so many snaps? Kids a baller, but damn that was a lot of plays. I'll be interested to see if any teams send guys on fly routes often through a game to wear him out and hurt his capacity to play offense. I guess it would depend how much man he is playing, which I admittedly have no clue.
Fun to see a guy play both ways successfully, but with the fast pace game nowadays I hope Coach Sanders doesn't break him.
Maybe they just expect cu to score over that number.…as 3 point favorite. Over is 58.5. Seems like a high over number to me.
CU let up close to what, 575 yards and over 250 on the ground? Can Nebraska keep this game close…
If yes it’s going to be a Under don’t see Nebraska scoring in the 30’s..
If Nebraska gets behind by 14 points in the 1stQ, I could see this game going over..
You would think Rhule and the staff will want to shorten this game by eating clock and hope to be close entering the 4thQ..
Hope your right a recipe for success would be Nebraska scoring on their 1st possession and getting an interception right after the score and scoring again going up 14-0..CU let up close to what, 575 yards and over 250 on the ground?
This should be a game where NU has a lot of big plays on offense.
I watched a high school game Friday night. Those kids had about three weeks of practice. 15-20 combined offensive snaps from inside the 10 yard line. Neither team committed a presnap penalty. But our beloved Huskers had a 3 year started have a false start from the 3 inch line. Plus they tacked on a couple more for good measure. Unbelievable. It all depends on our O. Can they get out of their own way? If not will that is good for at least a couple turnovers and costly penalties.

I think it's a culture thing. It won't change overnight. Somehow this program (under Riley and Frost) fostered a high sense of false confidence and an illusion of achievement from being in a program that others before them had built.I really thought those days were behind us.
