How were the special teams today?

**Update with huskers.com article**

Lincoln - Nebraska punter Caleb Lightbourn (Washougal, Wash.) was honored Monday for his performance against No. 22 Oregon, as he was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.

Lightbourn averaged 47.2 yards on his five punts and placed three of his five kicks inside the 20 in Saturday’s 35-32 win. The freshman set personal bests in average, punts inside the 20 and uncorked a career-long 58 yarder in the fourth quarter. Lightbourn’s final three kicks were all inside the Oregon 20-yard line.

Lightbourn and the Husker punt coverage team combined for a net 46.2 yards on his punts against the Ducks, a team which ranked 19th in the country in punt returns entering Saturday’s game. Lightbourn and the Huskers (3-0) hit the road for the first time this season, as the No. 20 (AP/Coaches) take on Northwestern. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m. (CT) on BTN.

Ave KR - 20
Ave PR - 14, plus one of the biggest plays of the game
Ave punt - 47
Perfect PAT
OR averaged 17/KR and 5/PR
Not too shabby!!
Not too shabby indeed My only gripe was on the first 2-point conversion we looked mystified it was happening. I thought Oregon runs that fairly often. But Reed made adjustments and they didn't make anymore, which was a key to the win.

DPE is always one miss from breaking out on a PR. The frosh punter's confidence has to be bursting. I don't think you want to kick it short to Tre either.

Not dogging Tre, but he's got to find a handle on the ball. I believe he's fumbled twice in two games?

Ya looked confused but you can't possibly work on EVERY swinging gate formation you gotta hope that the players can adjust

I thought the D played it well. Gerry had him, but the ball carrier made a hell of a play and lucky for him, he has a vertical. Otherwise, Gerry smashes him.
