Bring on da U

a team we should beat if we're decent.
Tap the brakes a little. Miami does very well what both BYU and S.Alabama had good success against us with. Miami's QB and WRs are better than SA's. IF anything, last night's game reinforced my concerns about our pass defense and maybe I can see why Bo was so damned worried about it that he nearly abandoned trying to stop the run for half the year last year. Davie just doesn't defend the ball in the air well at all. We have to be better there or we are in trouble.

If Banker doesn't give some help next week on the back end, I think we are going to be in BIG trouble. He has to realize how good Kaaya is, doesn't he?

Davie is a major liability out there. Gotta find someone else.

That is one of the worries going into this game.Miami can be ran on we will see if we can run the ball similar to last year.we'll be able to score some points on them not worried about that.

Da Canes will get some serious payback on NU this week. Just got to keep things positive and build upon each game for the conference slate.

Do not like Cav playing only 5 players on the OL. We will need to rotate some in the Miami weather (upper 80's with 70% plus humidity).

Three words for you: Miami coaching staff. They don't know what payback even means!

He knows. He's watched the film already of last year and this year's now too. This win meant no more to me than what the loss to BYU did. Feels good to have a W, but our weaknesses are still our weaknesses. It was good to see why Newby is the #1 Back but he still isn't Ameer. Still doesn't have that vision, explosiveness or elusiveness but then not that many backs do. IF we can get Bando back, that may help our DBs some but man we have to get some pressure on the QB. They've been able to get rid of the all quickly on timing type fades. Either you have to get pressure quickly or you have to cover and right now at least some of our guys are struggling with the one on one matchups. The ONE thing I DO feel good about is that IMO we have an EXPERT staff of assistants working on it. Whether or not the DBs we have can execute like they need to is another thing. Riley TOLD us all fall that giving up big pass plays by our D was a concern in scrimmage situations. He also told us that the ability to run the ball consistently had been a concern. We would have had those same issues and maybe more if FHCBP was still here and a helluva lot less qualified defensive coaching staff trying to fix it.
