It was windy as hell here that day as well. I remember hearing and reading the story when I got home from work that day. Was in an aerial boom doing work on some lot lights. This was above 45’ (I know because I couldn’t reach off a maxed out 45’ lift). The lights were swaying in the opposite direction of the lift. I don’t get nervous very often, but my butt was puckered most of that afternoon.

I don't care that there is a safety strap in those things, when it is swaying your knees go weak and your fingers dent the metal railing. 6" sway feels like 3'.

I would even say that they get it BUT they have to act like a kid who already made up their mind that they won't like it, even after trying it and liking it...in fact, they almost dig in even more when they do like it because they were soooooo sure they would not.
