Probably nobody happier than Alex Gordon in this decision. Best of luck to Duensing.....
Duensing was a very valuable guy for the Twins. I was actually surprised they let him go. He came in and gave them some very good starts at times when they needed it and was generally pretty consistent as a reliever. At times he was very good for them.Great for Duensing. The past few years he always did hurled the ball well against everyone except the Royals. I recall a few blown saves... Ironic that he's with KC now! Dayton Moore must see something in him. Moore sure has proven himself lately too. Hoping the same for his hunch on Ian Kennedy!
On a similar note...did Moore let Joba C go?
He was valuable for the Twins. I do agree with that! I was just saying that I remembered he blew some saves against KC a few times in the past few years. I recall Gordon having clutch hits against him in late innings. Must just be that contact philosophy they have now. That's all. Other than that, yes he threw well against lots of other teams. I'm totally biased, but yes I am glad he's with KC now. He had a great record last year, was an arm who helped the Twins get second place in the AL Central. Great left arm for either the bullpen or starting rotation. Can't wait to see what Eiland does with him.Duensing was a very valuable guy for the Twins. I was actually surprised they let him go.
