I just talked to a major OU booster [who was an ex partner of mine in some race horse years back] about the OU game today.
Interesting side note he told me was he had talked to Bob Stoops this week who told him he had been contacted about the LSU job. Bob had some interest in getting back in coaching but liked his gig at the TV studio.
Relevance was he made mention unsolicited that he thought the Nebraska job would be more appealing to him than LSU or USC due to many factors and immediate perceived success. LSU was going to be in the same conference as OU and he didn't really want that. When asked if either USC or NU had inquired he just smiled and commented he had to figure out if he was happy in the tv booth before he talked to anyone and no one had talked to him directly.
Dont shoot the messenger: Take that however you want to interpret it.
That could mean anything but IMO it does mean if he gets back into coaching he has respect and may have interest in Nebraska if they offer. An hour ago I wouldn't have believed that.
