Not hate just irritated. Weve had this discussion Rover. I cant stand the double standard and the "we cant let go of bo so we have to constantly bash on him". Fact is I have seen more Boleavers hang on to the hate longer than the bolievers hang on to the defense. Right now it looks like we got the short straw. I would like to wait til the end of the year and if Banker cant figure it out he needs to go. If not Riley is no better than Bo with Papuchis.

I have some advice. Practice the old adage, "keep your powder dry". Any criticism of Riley or Banker falls on deaf ears when your seven games into their care. Heck, Riley honestly needs one full recruiting cycle of his guys playing as seniors before we will have a true sense of what he can do. Didn't we hear the same thing for Bo... plus he got a few more years after that! Let Riley do his job.

And not once did you bring any of this "needs to go" crap on the old staff. After multiple YEARS. But you damn sure didn't even give the new staff even 2 games before your crap started. Your agenda is, and always will shiw.

Sorry, did the old staff have the worst start sine 59? Thats why Im pissed. The old staff showed immediate turnaround from the previous year. No agenda, just funny the double standard when people bring up the argument about Bo at YSU. For all I know a switch will flip and Banker will magically become a good dc after 20+ years (doubtful). In which case I invite you to call me out and as a man, will come on here and say I was wrong and am glad to be proven wrong. I just do not see Banker making our defense better. I have not seen any light at the end of the tunnel. Usually, you see at least some type of improvement halfway tgrough the year.

So tell me, who was Banker's Suh? Or Steinkuhler? Or Potter? Or Prince? Or Hagg? Or Phil Dillard? "The old staff" had some studs the current staff would love. Tell me Banker would be this bad with some of those names.

Is it really that hard to see why we might not start quite as good as the previous regime? Especially when you factor in the injuries this year? You are right to say if Riley gets a pass then Bo should too at YSU. I believe it is equally unfair to compare Banker's first year with these players against Bo's first year with the players he had...

Everybody gave Bo and his buddies at least 3 years. That's the part these babies have forgot. Then Bo's personality came to light and he hung himself.
And now we have a bunch of idiots who insist on trashing everything from the new staff since the day they were hired, all because they have no pride in the Nebraska program. They fell for the shit spewed by a coach who trashed the program they claim to be fans of. So sad, but also very telling.

No, the old stiff, er, staff, did not show an "immediate turnaround." They got their a$$ handed to them early on (not to mention later on as well). They also benefited from having the exact same offense and O coordinator from the year before. And you must be shielding your eyes from the light years of difference in our run D. People bring up Bo because he is a gigantic tool who was bad for this program and who thought (and thinks) he is smart and pretty much everyone else is stupid. He has a massive target on his back (which he put there); he crapped on us, doesn't care, and you don't think he is fair game? Make no mistake about it, you have an agenda the size of Bo's ego; that much is obvious.

Right now Riley is 3-4. Blo started 3-3. Bo's first 2 years were the only years his teams showed improvement through the year.... wonder why that is?

Or you are shielding your eyes from the light years difference in our pass d or total d...as i mentioned before you have to look at the whole picture.

Tell me what ANY of those guys did before Bos tenure? NOTHING. Suh was a terrible attitude player who was good for only getting personal fouls...Potter Prince Hagg Dillard...again nothing. Part of a defense that got shit stomped game after game. So you tell me if going from 100something in defense to top 25 is a "quick turnaroumd" because...it was. Look at the guys from Callahans guys, the guys coached by both, and the guys solely coached by Bo in the NFL. Lots more on the Bo side. So the fact that Banker "has no talent" is asinine. Yea we are short on talent to compete with Bama or OSU but we do NOT lack talent to be where we are at. To take guys who played in Bos defense last year (Kalu, Davie, Cockrell,) that was good against the pass and have it be dead last...not acceptable. Woohoo! We can stop the run...doesnt matter if they torch us through the air. If we cannot be respectable in pass d...teams wont even try to run because they can throw for 300+ all day every day. Riley isnt being scratched off my list. I have came back from that torch field (still dont love him though), but Banker will never be a good dc. He hasnt been for 20 years...what historical statistic would say it would change?

Stupid response Agenda Boy. I didn't say anything about our pass D or total D kicking ass. You said:

"Usually, you see at least some type of improvement halfway through the year." There has been significant improvement in the run defense. As hard as it is for you to deal with it, you must. I'm sorry.
