I think Purdue is 4-2 rather then 3-3, Penn State 1-5 rather than 2-4.

Quite the day for Big Ten underdogs and on a Friday to boot.

BTW, what's up with Penn St pitching? Team ERA of 3.69 with three starters under 3.00. One of them pitching a 1.18 ERA on 38 innings and yesterday's guy is 1.75 on 46.1 innings.

Opponents are hitting .220 on this staff. Did I mention strikeouts? They have 260 in 25 games, we have 196 in 24 games.

And, of course, they had a terrific day yesterday at Indiana. Two hit shutout, 12 Ks and just 1 BB. Starter went 6.1.

Hopefully Schwellenbach will actually be back for that series next weekend. Certainly worry about rust being out this long with injury.

Love to get Spencer back but hoping he wouldn't be the difference in that series.

Can't imagine what happened to Indiana yesterday but Penn St isn't a very good team. They've got five losses to NW and Purdue. Two not good teams.

Edit: Oops, Minnesota, not NW. Maybe we will need Spencer.
