This is almost starting to become laughable. We are about a month out from the start of the 2017 baseball season, and the Big Ten still hasn't announced their conference tournament location. Omaha will have it from 2018 to 2022, but they still don't know where the 2017 tournament will be because the Big East tournament is in Omaha this year.
A source today told me they are now looking at campus sites. Lincoln though would be off the table because the Salt Dogs are at home that weekend. The Storm Chasers in Omaha are also at home that weekend. It will be interesting to see what they pick, because you obviously want to choose a host school that's going to make the thing, and as we've learned this league can produce some unpredictable results. Not a good situation for a league that has worked hard to improve it's baseball image.
