I saw a headline that Rhule was moving his show from Sunday night to Monday night. I don't know who broadcasts that but did Frost even HAVE a show? I don't remember watching it. Maybe I lost interest.

Back in the days they had John Melton on with a guest player and they would show every play… back then not everyone had the luxury of seeing every play of the game.
That was always cool on Tuesday nights..
Coaches are contractually obligated to do the show. I'm still mad the Big Ten forced Nebraska to cut the football show from 1 hour to a half hour.
The 2021 season of Nebraska Football Shows is on News Channel Nebraska's YouTube channel if anyone is in a masochistic mood.
Listening to frost was like watching paint dry. After about two minutes, you just turned it off and went outside.
It was on at, like, 11:05 p.m. in Omaha. Nothing good happens outside at that hour. Yet I still felt compelled. . .
I miss the Tom Osborne show. A portion of the program had a couple of players on. That lead to some entertaining interactions a few times, particularly if there was a miffed assignment among the plays they were watching together and Osborne calmly saying stuff like, "And what happened there?" 😂
The best thing about the Tom Osborne show was that a vast majority of the time they were reviewing a game that WE WON.
Melton and Rozier went at it one show in a nice way...more or less. Might have been the show after NU beat UCLA. Rozier ran left from the 5 toward the goal line, reversed his field and went all the way back to the 40 and ran it in on the opposite side.. Melton hassled Rozier about taking a risk on that run, his hat (Jackson 5 style big denim cap), told him to get the toothpick out of his mouth.
One time, I think it was John Vedral that was on with TO...he was still a player at the time and TO goes "So, John, some of the guys on the team have said that you were looking to meet some girls but had been having a hard time with that"
Something like that, and Vedral just turned bright red.
Big Red Wrap-Up is a pretty solid show especially for a cheesy public access type show.
I wonder how many other schools have something like this still, with most things being YouTube videos and podcasts.

I’ve never been a fan of severe at times I swear he hates Nebraska
I'm with you. He sucks. Otherwise it is a good show.
Him and Kugler were amazing together.
Most NU fans want a total homer, which I get, but he is not a homer BUT he does want them to do well, but he also gives his opinion when they suck. Which is fair.
John Melton was a great co-host. His quips were great.
One time, I think Don Gill, asks him how he sleeps before big games (it was Oklahoma week). He says the big games are easy because you know what to expect. Gill wanted him to get specific about OU. Melton said he sleeps like a baby.....wakes up crying every two hours.

I know some fans LOVE that, they only listen to the homer radio broadcast.
I don't mind it for pregame stuff if we are heading to lincoln to party for the game and the post game stuff, but for the game...making a 2 yard run sound like it is a 99 yard TD run gets a little old.
This is true for every fanbase. I knew a person who swore up and down that the announcers HATED Butler basketball. Completely irrational. Kevin Kugler even makes fun of this stuff in his twitter bio, which reads, "I hate your team. It's clear. You can hear it on the air. I'm sorry. I've always loved your opponent. I embrace my bias. It's well documented."
I'd never heard that. Interesting. Didn't know the conference could dictate to member school how long their TV show could be. 🤔 😡
He’s something nobody seems to like anymore. He reports facts and for the most part leaves his opinions at the door. That hasn’t always set well with the Husker faithful because we’ve been putrid. Loved his radio shows.
Love Melton's conversation about the polls in that clip. So great.
