I heard NW chose not to participate. Wonder why?😌
They already embarrassed themselves. They didn't want to embarrass themselves any further.
Honestly I have almost zero interest in the media days for any conference. I think they have no significance other than indicating the actual season is getting closer. It's purely a marketing/PR event.
I am not a fan of that reporter. I can't read this article because it is behind a pay wall, but I listened to her babble on Sharp and Handley the other day and she comes across as clueless in my opinion.
Gotta give Northwestern AD Derrick Gragg credit for doing a one-on-one with Dave Revsine. And gotta give Dave credit for not sugar coating the interview and asking uncomfortable questions. Gragg didn't answer a lot of questions due to the "ongoing investigation", but he took his lumps.

Same. I used to feel differently when we were relevant, and a contender, but that's almost ancient history.
None of this matters. If you're really interested in how the B1G goes in 2023, just pay attention to Jim Harbaugh's session today. The B1G championship talk starts and ends in Ann Arbor - plain and simple. BTW, who's the greatest and most winningest program in CF history ?

NW coach went yesterday, only the players choose not to participate.
Listened to all coaches this morning … NW was fillibustering to avoid questions. Seems like a deer in the headlights. Truly feel he was excited to get the role but then absolutely fell face first into a crap hole. Think he will make the best of it but he’s in a rough spot. I’m sure the administration loved him complimenting Fitz.
I think the players were all looking for new schools to transfer to. The others were still playing hide the soap in the shower games.

I agree. I do subscribe to the online version of the Journal Star and so I do read her stuff. And I have never been impressed. She makes Sipple look like Woodward and Bernstein in comparison. And I always thought he was superficial until she showed up.
This is pure gold. It shows that he gets it. It shows that what he understands about Nebraskans and their relationship with their football team is that it brought "respect" to the State.
