Big 10 Baseball Torunament

Smart move by the B1G. Guaranteed big crowds, especially if he Huskers do well. No city would do as well as Omaha in B1G Country.

This might be hard to do but it would be nice if the Big Ten could somehow work with CWS of Omaha and set up a "season ticket" plan whereby you could purchase and renew your same seats each year like we can with our CWS tickets.

I bought the full series (Big Ten Championship) two years ago and purchased this year's tickets a couple of months ago. I would be glad to buy same seat season tickets each year the event is in Omaha.

Omaha is a great place for this event. The only other place that I think would be a decent host to this event is Victory Field in Indianapolis but it would still not draw as well as Omaha.

Was thinking the same thing. I finally got CWS tixs last year after 16 years on the waiting list.

OK you got CWS season tickets last year after 16 years on the wait list, I've had season tickets for 20 years now. I'm curious what section they placed you in? (I'm guessing you only got a pair of tickets and not four).

I had the choice of 2 or 4. So I took 4 while I could get them. Section 301 along the 1st base side. I wasn't thrilled at first, but once I got there they were fine. The sun is always behind us and being that high, there's almost always a breeze. Plus, we are near the stairs, bathrooms, and the main entrance. So I'm not complaining. I'd probably prefer to stay there vs going 3rd base side.

It worked out good timing wise. I put in for them at around the time first kid was born. Now my sons in high school can enjoy them and take friends.

Very good, I'm in section 101, row 14 which is where I've been since we moved over from Rosenblatt. Much happier too because unlike at Rosenblatt I'm not staring into the sun. I have four seats and have considered giving up 2 to see if I could move a section or two closer to home plate but remain on the first base side but keep holding on to them (4) which pretty much guarantees that I won't be moving. That and if I don't do a move request I won't move either.

101? We'll lob some beach balls down on you sometime. Laughing

Maybe by the time I have grandchildren, I'll be moved in a little bit?
