lost today 56-3? when does his seat start warming up? i realize they were trash when he took over and he has improved them a bit, but i think he has hit his ceiling there and he's about as lovable as BO was.

Nutt and Petrino did much better there than he's dreamed of. They have to cut the chord on him and go a different direction. He's vastly overpriced

Yeah, I'll attest to that having lived there during college. Bret Bielema is one of my least favorite people in college football too, so I rather enjoyed seeing that they got absolutely embarrassed like that, especially remembering a couple of those beatdowns they put on us when he was at Wisconsin. Also, not that I care about Wisconsin much, but from a B1G perspective, I love the fact that he hasn't done much at Arkansas and Wisconsin hasn't really missed a beat since he left since the national media made such a big deal about what a coup for the SEC it was for Arkansas to get him to leave the B1G.

Bielema is a very good coach at a less than very good place to coach CFB. Petrino is one of the top coaches in all of CFB, so I have zero problem ranking him ahead of Bilema, but in the grand scheme of things, Arkansas is far enough down in the pecking order of the SEC that he's going to struggle to win much there. I thought it was a weird job for him to take personally, and if he had stayed at Wisky he'd probably be the leading candidate to get the LSU job now. I realize many people think he's a tool, whatever, so is Saban.
