No way in hell they should have let him on during that time. Alabama is probably a better team, but they didn't deserve it this year. Plain and simple. Decision tonight will tell me a lot about where college football is now. Sell your soul to the devil or do what is right. We'll see.
If Alabama loses, how about K-State was simply the better team.
Of course Bama is more talented and would win 8/10 vs anyone not named UGA, but they lost twice. I now want them out more than ever because of Sabans politicking.

Not this year - Bama is not as good as tcu. Judge only on this years games and I watched every Bama game and they were not the same as past years

If Alabama played TCU on the same days and in the same ways that they played Texas and Tennessee they would lose twice to TCU. You can't choose a team based on how they project after missing the conference championship game and getting weeks of rest...TCU had the better season...Bama lost to one average team and one very good team and nearly lost to a terrible team and if TCU gets to sit out conference championship they would look a lot better today. This is exactly why the extended playoff is needed...force teams to play instead of sitting at home and falling forward.
I got no dog in the fight, as you can see, I didn’t post anywhere in this thread til now. It’s just kind of funny that you said they would win by 40 and still come on here for a victory lap when the only won by 25.

first, the 40 comment was an euphemism that the game would be a blowout. a blowout it was.
second, i'd argue Alabama would have gotten to 40 margin of victory had they not pulled all their starters early in the 4th and also then to kneel it out in the red zone to finish the game....but a pointless discussion.
the game was men vs boys.
beyond the lopsided game stats, there was small things like KSU's 3 muffed kickoffs on their own goal-line or KSU's failed version of Scott Frost onside kick. KSU's repeated necessity to use 4th downs to gain a first...again, probably a pointless discussion.
