and not being entrenched in the intricacies regarding Xs and Os he mentioned that it wasn't the 10-13 runs that was baffling but rather the types of runs. Not all running plays are cut from same cloth
A few of us at the game were saying same thing in stands at the game at high level. Something was bothering us about the types of runs. But couldn't put finger on it
Too many stretch plays in my opinion and too few counters QB counters not a ton of power or off tackle even. So even with a lot of running not much variety
It's strange to me and I hope we can just chalk it up to purposely being vanilla but as DB said some thing else seemed to be at play last week beyond just not trusting Tommy be it lack of trust in WR in camp or even something deeper
Whatever it is I hope we're still not talking about this a week or 2 from now
