Was having some beer in 5 May on a local bar with a Nebraska buddy who was wearing an N hat. An OU fan about our age came over and started talking about how he missed the yearly contest.
It was an interesting conversation.... no hate, just a fun rival discussion. Of course he had to mention the Johnny Rodgers punt return and the "clip" ... and I brought up the Rudd hit. So on and so forth... clearly there was an appreciation of the history.
Here is where I would like some input. He claimed that the respect level between OU and NU was something that OU has not experienced since. Hates the snobhorns... his word. I have had many conversations with OU fans over the years and this was pretty similar. Not a douche OU fan.

His question was... "Is there a team in the Big10 that you feel could be similar in respect and competition?" I thought this was a pretty good question. I cannot and do not believe it could be Iowa. There just isn't enough respect. Honestly, I just don't have a good feel for who it could be.
Anyhow, would like to hear what others think and if they have a similar sense of the OU - NU rivalry.
