1. It's Iowa.
2. A win means playing tomorrow against a team (hopefully Indiana) that played two games today. That team would have to beat Jake Meyers and then beat us again.
3. A loss means we become that team. We would have to beat Maryland after sitting around for five hours while the Terps have been resting for a full day. Then beat Iowa twice tomorrow. Five games in three days if we want to win the tournament.

We must win this game at all costs. There can't be any, "Let the starter work it out because we need to save the bullpen for the rest of the tournament," like we saw on Wednesday. It worked out then but there needs to be a quick hook today no matter who is in the mound.

No doubt Iowa is too good of a hitting team to let the starter in like Wednesday's game.

Seems Burkamper has been pitching better than Hohensee late in the season.

Also after beating Maryland if we would lose Nebraska would move to the other bracket and play the winner of the Minny/ Northwestern game.

You're right. I accounted for the crossover with a win but not a loss. Let's just win and not worry about it.
