I don't think our guys have it or they have had the instinct coached out of them. On many occasions I saw plays that were there to be made and we just aren't smart or football savy about it. I think it was Young that was running along side a receiver on 3rd and about 5. The QB still with the ball runs right beside him and he keeps following the receiver. He had to know the qb had the ball cause he was watching him the whole way. Or, It looks like we have a runner surrounded and he manages 5 yards. On that one touchdown we have the guy cut off with like 3 guys and everyone one of them overruns the play allowing a cutback TD. Just dumb stuff like that all the time. Gerry picks up a guy on a fly route and runs into Davie allowing the guy to run free- luckily on that one the QB overthrew him. We play like 11 individuals instead of a team.
I'm really pulling for Riley to succeed and I think you have to give him time, but man its hard to believe right now. Its clear the team has quit on us as I saw some really poor effort as well at times.
