I decided to post this. I have a friend who is a huge Nebraska booster with much inside information. I have never posted anything from him in the past because I know how people that do get filleted. Pretty much anything he told me before has been accurate. So here goes.
Not getting good signals out of Lincoln regarding football. Riley is a nice guy, but puts more emphasis on PR than working his teams hard.
Boosters and some regents are upset with the results given the financial support the athletic department is provided. Not just in football, but that is the big one obviously. Eichorst is under a tremendous amount of pressure due to athletic under performance.
Once again, I am not stating this as a fact. But I believe it to be true.
