... that this new staff doesn't believe we have the right skills or depth at safety, cornerback, linebacker or tight end. Admittedly, some of these position groups are thin, but others (TE and safety) have a lot of scholarship depth. And, the coaches don't seem to care if the egos of the returning players at these positions are being bruised by the lack of respect that they're getting.
I think this winter's conditioning and spring drills are going to amp up competition to ferocious levels. No gimmes anywhere and returning players are on notice that the new talent will get a long look. It should be one of the more fascinating off seasons we've seen since Bo was sent packing.
