Making the Sooners look like a great team, which they are not. Baseball is a strange game, but this is what happens when your program consistently loses to Summit teams. Lack of fundamentals and mental toughness will show up. Did the Michigan State RF really do us a favor?? Bolt can hide behind ‘made the NCAA tourney 2 years in a row’, instead of having to address some major issues in his coaching/strategy/recruiting.
It's a steep hill but hopefully they can begin to fight their way out of this. No player, in any sport, wants to end their season with a game like this.

Second-guessing a baseball coach is the easiest thing to do.. But the number of times this team shows up not ready to play is concerning to say the least.

Like I mentioned earlier bolt needs to redo his staff the new hitting coach a coach that can recruit actual talent, I think Childress is ok pitching coach he just needs pitchers to throw strikes and a coach that teaches basic fundamentals like base running cut the errors down, he has a number of issues to resolve
Doesn’t matter to this game, but you bring in Worthley, who obviously isn’t the same P as last year/can’t get anyone out, to pitch to their best hitter who bats R handed???? I’m shocked that the result was a 3 run freaking bomb….outside of Christo, not one player/coach on this team acted like they gave a crap.
They need to tuck her hair under her cap and put Jordy Bahl in.

there's a reason these guys are playing in the B1G and not a competitive baseball league.
I would think that with NIL baseball would be the sport that would be very easy to make good.
Go buy two good pitchers and you should be just fine.

I think you are thinking of softball. Pitching staffs need more than 2 good pitchers if they want to get far in the Men’s College Word Series.
In college baseball you can do just fine with two aces and a few "regular" pitchers.
Pretty much puts you in contention to win each series with two studs.
Obviously MORE aces would be better. I agree.
What is really sad is that Nebraska produces really good talent and always has and the local teams can't take advantage. College baseball is not a money maker and really doesn't matter but the move from the big 12 really killed the program. College World Series is a glorified little league world series with the best talent not even playing college baseball but watching huskers in front of a red stadium during CWS was fairly special.
