Look at all those southern schools. Damn I wish northern schools would step up and tske baseball seriously. Do they not realize what a home field avantage they have if they make it to Omaha? Omahans would love a northern school.

Many southern schools can travel within a few hundred miles and find other good RPI teams. The Big Ten teams would have to travel south on the weekends which may be feasible early in the season but midweek games not so much. I do wish the conference would put more money towards traveling south but don't see it happening. We all know how hard it is to get a southern team to come north.
