Did Mcmullen "Joe McCray" himself out of the NFL draft possibility?"Who knows? It's fascinating, a little bit, to think everybody's healthy. But we could have a lineup w/ Maliek (Collins) & Greg (McMullen) at the tackles and (Jack) Gangwish and Freedom out at the ends."
He might have more value as a DT at the next level anyway if he can play well there. He's probably not athletic enough to play DE in the NFL anyway.Did Mcmullen "Joe McCray" himself out of the NFL draft possibility?
His only shot at end in the league was as a 3-4 end. No shot at 4-3 end.He might have more value as a DT at the next level anyway if he can play well there. He's probably not athletic enough to play DE in the NFL anyway.
I think that is where NothingKevin has him on his boardDoes that mean VV moves to corner when he's back to 100%?
Hmmmmm. He has been mysteriously absent lately. Must be really busy scouting high school cheerleaders..... I mean players.I think that is where NothingKevin has him on his board
IMO there is clearly a team effort happening trying to put the best plan and people on the field. We KNEW that we were going to struggle IF we had ANY injuries at linebacker and DE. We KNEW that we were changing schemes and now we're having to deal with playing freshmen and a sophomore linebacker at key positions. Riley made a point to note that we had MULTIPLE blown assignments in the back 7 on saturday and I don't know why anybody would be surprised by that. Hopefully they can get some of those kids up to speed quickly and hopefully they can coach some of the mental mistakes out of them. We saw the same crap last year in the run game from our linebackers and DBs so I don't know why anybody is surprised its happening in the passing game this year.sorry to be a bit serious in a sarcastic thread, but I am not so sure anymore that Banker is actually calling the shots on D. After watching the press conference with Riley yesterday, I sort of got the feeling that Riley was the one calling the shots there, and Banker was the one just doing the implementation of it. I could be wrong about this, and I don't have any proof. However statements like that from Banker lend to this theory of mine as well. That quote doesn't sound like it is coming from a decision maker.
