For me it will come down to the day. With 3 littles at home it will be hard if it lands on NYE. I have a buddy that already booked in Nashville, and I may book in Phx or Detroit.

Who’s got that kind of money to waste on watching a football game? Sheesh 🙄

Since the Rate bowl is the day after Christmas that’s not going to happen with family and plane travel..

Would love going to Charlotte and bring my clubs along..
I thought about the Rate bowl in Phoenix, and what kind of fun road trip I could put together. And then I saw it was the day after Christmas, and then I stopped thinking about it.

Went from 55 to 65. Plenty large for the room it is in.
Richard Pryor Kinda GIF

I'd go if it was for the NC, and in a nice place that did'nt cost alot.
Guess you'll be staying home. Every will cost alot . Heck if you're staying in Lincoln for a home game I think it costs the average fan (2 ) between 500 and 700 $ for everything plus travel expense

Husker Nation has traditionally shown up in impressive numbers at away games, bowl game or not.

If we win Friday I'm curious if we don't get bumped up to a little better bowl because of the reliable crowd we bring to their city.

Fun stuff to think about this time of the year. It's been awhile.

If it is in Charolotte I will be there. It is an easy plane flight for me out of Scranton. I will also consider going to Nashville. And of course, New York City is just a two hour drive for me so the Pinstripe Bowl, though probably cold weather, would be a no brainer...

I'm thinking playing the sec champ in the vegas stadium (major horse before the cart disclaimer)

1. vegas = cheap flights, cheap hotels, stuff to do..plus the hotel is probably close to the stadium, in walking distance
2. stadium is in decent area (not run for your life after the old orange bowl), and is a very nice stadium
3. I think in a deal like that one could justify the expense, really it doesn't need to be a NC game..perhaps a quarter finals in the playoff

basicly you want the game to mean something and not go thru alot of bs to see it
