There will be an SF 27 decal on the helmets, and the logo will also be on the gameday hats, sweatshirts, compression shirts and the coaches's sideline polo shirts. Also one of the 85 football scholarships is being renamed in his honor and awarded to a player that embodies Foltz's traits of leadership, excellence in the community and in the classroom(the first recipient will be awarded at the first game). The Hero Leadership Award which is awarded to athletes in all sports will now be called the Sam Foltz Hero 27 Leadership Award and awarded to 27 athletes(Foltz was one of the recipients of the award this year).
