At least one reason for Frost to at least consider us...

That’s pathetic. They can start all the movements they want to keep coach except showing up for games.

That's what Memorial Stadium will look in two weeks.......oops, take that back, the black and gold team will be there in force to watch their team kick our ass again!

If Moos doesn’t have his head up his rear you pay Frost whatever it takes. So there will be 4-5 million reasons.

Frost has openly complained about lack of fans at UCF games before. Undefeated, ranked in the top 15 and this is their turnout today.

I watched parts of the first 3 quarters of the UCF game today and it was dead silent the majority of the time. Not exactly a great environment to get excited about.

How many fan bases would kill to have an undefeated team with a Top 5 offense in the nation?
#1 scoring offense and #28 scoring defense. Undefeated and ranked in the top 15. I’d be thrilled with that compared to where we’re currently at.

But this is true of all the Florida schools. Unless they are winning and in contention for something, attendance at the big three isn't stellar either. Florida has the best attendance and Miami the worst. A friend of mine who teaches at FSU says that once the losses piled up this year the attendance there went way down. And Florida's attendance has been spotty this year too.

The fact is it really is the #1 reason a coach, especially one from NU, who played at NU, and still has family here, would want to coach here. The fan support. And please spare me the lectures about our fickle fans and how we fire coaches like a hooker turns Johns. So tired of the trashing of our fan base on here.

We have great fans. Loyal fans. The whole culture of Lincoln and beyond is focused on that team. Sure it brings pressure... but all blue blood programs bring pressure. And they should.

Also getting tired of hearing what an unattractive job the NU job is.
Win here and it is the greatest gig in college football.
Frost would be a fool not to come here in my view.
And I think he is coming here

That couldn't have been said any better, talk about fair weather fans.

How many here have lived anywhere but Nebraska? It is a great place, I chose to return. However, there are other places to make a living(coach) that are attractive for countless reasons. Lots of places have money, fan support etc. some also have lots of things to do besides support the big Red N...and some coaches and their families like to do some of those other things

I became a bigger fan and appreciated it more after I left the state.

Some do, some enjoy a different existence even with fond memories of their roots. Will be interesting to see where Frost falls
