This is Dillingham's reaction when the officials put one second back to the clock with ASU leading BYU 28-23. It gave BYU a chance for a hail marry pass from mid-field. The pass was caught by a BYU player, but a few yards short of the end zone.

Hard to tell from the replay, but it did look like there was probably some time left when the ball made contact out of bounds. I like a good refs-doing-the-conference's-bidding theory as much as anyone, because I've seen it a thousand times. But I don't think Dillingham's QB executed the last play very well.

Simms would have tried to throw it into the stands, and somehow missed.

Dillingham screwed up big time at the end of that game. He had his QB running backwards trying to burn the clock. ASU had 1st & goal from the 7 with less than a minute to go.

the greatest coaches show ever was the last bo peneli show with greg sharp..
they did it under the bleachers after we got blown out and bo was basicly just grunting.
