I don't buy ND's team or resume. Ohio State is done.

My four are as follows:

Clemson
Bama
Oklahoma
Sparty

This is not where I think the next poll will come out but rather the final four I predict by the end of the season.

I don't see OU and MSU getting around Nutter Dumb if they beat Stanford - but if you are assuming that will happen - then good list

I think you nailed it. Unfortunately I see Bama steamrolling everyone to another NC. Damn I hate Saban!

Im watching oklahoma, and they have a o-linemen named curry who they said played some games for Nebraska in 2013, why did he leave?

1. Clemson
2. Alabama
3. B1G Champion
4. Big XII Champion or Notre Dame

Well, the SEC may be passing the CFP Committee's infamous "eye test" but they sure aren't passing my eye test right now!

The SEC now has only two teams with less than 3 losses and one of those teams won in OT against a non-Power Five 2 win team today.

10-1 Florida wins in OT against 2-9 Florida Atlantic (Conference USA)
Georgia tied in 4th quarter with Georgia Southern (Sun Belt)
South Carolina lost to The Citadel (FCS!)
(Previous CFP #2) LSU lost to Ole Miss 38-17

Please tell me again who Alabama's impressive win was against, because as of right now, they haven't beaten a team with less than 3 losses. How can a win against a team that ended up with 3 losses be considered impressive?

As of next week's new CFP rankings, the best/highest ranked team that Alabama will have faced... beat them. Lots of wins against teams outside the Top 20 = no impressive wins.

If Notre Dame and Alabama win out, they will have very similar resumes...except Alabama will have a conference championship game under it's belt. Tilt Alabama.

Maybe they should stop weekly CFP polls and wait until after the regular season and conference championship games before releasing a CFP poll and release 2 total a year.
One after all regular season games and one after all bowl games.

Hmmm... what if Iowa actually beats Nebraska and loses to Michigan St (If they win the East)?

That could leave a one-loss Ohio St, Iowa, Michigan St., Oklahoma and Baylor (if they happen to win out).

How would you determine the best three one-loss teams out of:

Alabama
Notre Dame
Michigan State
Oklahoma
-------------Below didn't win conference-----------
Ohio State
Iowa
Baylor

Alabama and Michigan State will have won their conference championship games while Notre Dame and Oklahoma wouldn't even play in one.

Here is a thought... How about the number 5 team moving into the top 4??? You guys make it too hard. Give credit where credit is due!

You should have your eyes checked then. Right now Alabama looks like they'd curb stomp any other team that's in line for a playoff spot.

Still not sure I'd put anyone 1 loss team ahead of ND because their 1 loss was to the #1 team in the nation. I understand that the teams they beat crapped the bed, but so far they've done what they needed to do outside of beating Clemson....which was in the pouring rain and came down to a 2 pt conversion.

of course I'm biased as a Spartan, but I do not believe any one loss team will have a better resume than wins over tOSU, UM, Iowa and Oregon (that win is looking more impressive everyday). Of course, that is IF MSU beats PSU and Iowa. Lots of football to be played but if that scenario plays out it would be hard to leave MSU out.

Solid.

They won't leave out a one loss B1G champion.

I put Alabama as #2 and said the SEC doesn't pass my eye test. (Not Alabama)

They still don't have any impressive wins either... just conference teams (and Wisconsin) with 3+ losses.

Thanks for clearing up that Alabama isn't in the SEC....

Iowa would be nice.
North Carolina knocks off Clemson or will it be South Carolina, after the loss to The Citadel?
Can Auburn knock off Alabama?
Does Penn State pull off a nice road win at Michigan State, like they did a couple of years ago at Wisconsin?
Does Oklahoma State beat OU in Bedlam?
Stanford beat Cal, so the world order is fine ... as long as they take care of business over Notre Dame :)

peace
