high risk, his reward, low/high expectations?

reading sam's article someone else posted, the first couple sentences about qb sounded like favre...

favre was considered a very good nfl qb, but is it because he made good decisions or was it that he just allowed his receivers to make plays, and threw the ball in their general area. favre won games with late game heroics, as did tommie. but a lot of those games were requiring late game heroics because of early game miscues (see miami 2015). favre seemed better on the move, as does tommie, which creates opportunities of mismatches. tommie under control (see ucla game), is close to being in new york in december--running, scrambling, throwing, hitting the open receiver, throwing the ball away when needed, i.e. making good decisions a majority of the time. the one drive that tommie looked like a million bucks? the last drive against michigan state. sat in the pocket, hit several passes and drove the field. a tom brady type drive, and result.

some here have said tommie will benefit greatly from a second year with dl, which for sure won't hurt, but is it also possible that hcmr and dl will benefit just as much from a second year with tommie?
