With few exceptions, I always cheer for teams that beat us. They both did, but Indiana was way worse. It just makes us look better. Kind of college football fandom 101. If I don't have a dog in that fight, I always cheer for the underdog. Why not? And if that's not enough of a reason, I always cheer against Ohio State and Michigan. Eff both of them! They're two of the worst things about this godforsaken conference we're in. Not to mention, Indiana actually being good gives me hope that we can get back on top. If they can do it, so can we.

Anyone have a compelling reason to cheer for OSU in this thing? If so, I'd love to hear it because I think you're wrong.

I'm also pulling for the Hoosiers. I usually like to see the underdogs do well and Indiana has been one of the best stories in college football this year.

if I hear sankey and sec talk alot I pull for the big..if I hear big talk to much I pull for the sec..

so I guess it's who I listen to last that determines my out look.

I do think if it's a nail biter Indiana should defiantly be in..they impressed the hell outta me

Go Hoosiers. Keep it tight and they could still get in the 12. Would be cool to see them in the playoffs.

Indiana will come back to earth today, but they are a great rags to riches story for this year. It's always nice to have teams rise and put worry into the arrogant fan bases of the BIG. Before I pass onto the other side of life, I hope to see Nebraska re-immerge as a winner in football and it doesn't have to be a championship team just a solid winning team. GBR!

It’s a tough one

On one hand, I want the actual best teams in the playoffs and Indiana certainly isn’t one of the top 12 in the country

On the other, I like free money and betting against them in round 1 would surely be that

I’ll be cheering for whatever represents the worst outcome for the B1G, which is probably an IU outright win

A 2-loss OSU team doesn’t belong in the tournament and that would be hilarious

Go Indiana and Kansas Jayhawks today! I always like seeing Day lose and see OSU fans suffer.
I'm rooting for Indiana for the simple pleasure of watching the visible pain and agony of Ryan Day. Unfortunately, the refs will win the day as their directive will be to keep Ohio St with one loss and, of course Indiana as one loss, thus maintaining the possibility for more Big 10 teams to be included in the playoffs.

Rooting against the conference we’re in? Such a kong move.

I cannot find a reason to ever root for a Ryan Day team. He goes against teams every week that have few players if any that he would even recruit. Just think about what kind of advantage that is.

I am cheering for OSU out of sheer jealousy of Indiana. They turned a losing program into a winning program in one year. We are in year 10 and our third coach trying to do the same. Somehow they did it in one year. So F$ck them. 😂
If we haven’t learned anything else from IU’s magical year, we can see that in the portal/NIL era there is a huge advantage to hiring a successful, sitting college coach even one at an FCS school. A fired NFL coach doesn’t bring much with him except some buddy assistant coaches. Of course the challenge for IU is using this one-time advantage and leveraging it into long-term success. I noticed he recently got a ten-year deal and it remains to be seen how that contract will age.

I want them to win for one simple reason: sports fans who don't believe good coaching can overcome inherent short-comings.

Nebraska never had the advantages of Ohio and Florida in terms of an abundance of local talent. Yet for 40 years dominated the football landscape. Coaching is the reason.

Buckeyes needed a full yard, didn’t even get back to the line of scrimmage, then cried their way to a review. This will be interesting.

I can't stand IU because I just have a natural disdain for cocky people and "Google me" is definitely an arrogant asshole. Maybe Day is too but for some reason I can tolerate him a little better.
