Anyone else on here going to the game?

Taking the MegaBus from Baltimore to Port Authority on Saturday morning, stopping by MOMA for member hour (9:30 to 10:30 a.m.) and meeting up with old friends from Boston at the Dugout Bar around 11 a.m.

NYC Huskers have a Friday night tailgate at the Brazen Bar in Manhattan (44th and 9th Ave. on the west side) and an unofficial event Saturday morning at the Dugout, which is across the street from the stadium.

I'll be the old guy in red hanging out with the Massholes.

Thanks! I think I will try and catch the Friday night tailgate at the Brazen Bar. Any idea what time it gets started?

Here's the text of the email I received:

To keep the season merry and bright, we're holding a day-before tailgate at The Brazen. We'll have a special Husker Bowl Game menu, exclusive Pinstripe Bowl merch and, of course, way way way way way too many Huskers. It's like having all your family over for Christmas, in that we'll spend most of the time bashing Michigan's claim on the 1997 national championship. We'll be there all day, so drop in while enjoying the city, but it's really gonna get going around 7pm. Stick around for an hour and you can catch Sean Callahan of Husker Online doing his pregame show, live from the bar, at 8.

@Pennsyhusker More info from the NYC Huskers:

—~~~— The pregame at The Brazen is your only opportunity to grab T-shirts for the game, including our Pinstripe-exclusive shirt. They will not be available day-of! —~~~—

For those of you on the East side, there will also be a party in Clinton Hall starting at 7. There's no merch at that one but there will be Nebraskans, so that's a good option too. (Especially for if/when The Brazen gets crowded!)

DAY-OF TAILGATE:
Before the game we're "Tailgating" at The Dugout, right next to Yankee Stadium, starting at 8am. It's not ticketed or anything so feel free to come and go as you please (bagel breaks are a must!) and we're giving away a free drink to the first 200 guests. Kids are welcome!

Thanks! I will definitely be there for this. Getting in to my hotel around 3:00 PM and will head down to Manhattan right after that. So this is perfect. I will also be an ugly old guy with a white hat... I will also go to the Dugout on Saturday morning.... Hopefully our paths will cross even if we don't know it...

Well, you look just like Bob Devaney, and people say I bear a striking resemblance to Anita O'Day, so there's that ...

I know it’s not the results of the season or the bowl that we wanted, but it’s nice seeing Nebraska in the scroll at the bottom of the screen regarding upcoming bowl games. I’m looking forward to the game. One more game. Let’s show up and show out. GBR!
