Any rumblings from players

Don’t know if he means “good old” or “good Oline”

Is it just me, or does it seem information about winter conditioning is WAY more hush-hush than in years past? If so, either the players were asked to keep a lid on it, they don't like it so don't say much about it, or are too tired to tweet.

Not just you. I'm thinking the same thing.

Can I ask how you know that? I have been wondering the same thing the OP brings up.
I don't know it for a fact, that is why I said "looks like it". I am referring to the twitter pix up above. Looks like they are working hard in the weight room.

Talk is cheap and based on recent performance, we should have nothing to say...

I see it the other way around. I don't recall any where near the interest level of offseason strength training in the past years like this one if I'm being honest. Public comments indicate we need to improve greatly in the weight room and overall effort. I'm very confident the current coaches (and players) are trying for major improvement currently.

It may have something to do with the medical, black urine, condition that occurred after basic testing.......

Or the fact that some of our guys hadn't been in the weight room in 6 months....

Looks like 450 plus the bar in those photos. I assume that's as lot for 10 reps.

So these players are able to squat 495 ten times but weren't squating at all the past 3 years? Duval must be the real deal to get those kind of results in such a short period of time.

Yeah I'd love somebody to dig out the thread after the video went out of Khalil Davis squatting a metric asston for however many reps he did last year. People on here were VERY SURE it was a sign of big things to come.

Surprised that no one has brought his up but I think the guy in the picture is Damian Jackson, our 24-year-old Navy Seal and Husker. No wonder it is so much weight!

I hope that guy gets some snaps in this fall.

+1
We've heard this kind of stuff in the past.

The coaching mindset is completely different. This mindset hasn't existed since Osborne retired...IMO

There is much more accountability with the players now. Guys like David Knevel can no longer go through the motions. And yes, they are working much harder on the weights than in the Riley regime.
