Taylor M. was the best qb we've had since crouch, won a lot of games and was all big 10. Adrian was about as good as Armstrong but coaching kind of screwed them. Ganz and Zach were good. Can't remember anyone else decent.

His passer rating freshman, junior and senior year would be on the edge of Top 50 QBs this year. -At least solid enough. His sophomore slump would equate to about 75th ranking this year. Obviously, he also offered considerable run threat.

His legs made up for many mistakes. I will forever remember that night KSU road game.
TM is conference offensive freshman of the year, the all conference qb as a junior, and makes two conference championship games, so yes I suppose if he’d been relegated to second string those teams mighta been pretty good.

The game the next week, maybe the most emotionally crushing of all time, Missouri, was much worse by my memory. Then again I had to walk home and find out we had to play Oklahoma, AGAIN, in the Orange Bowl.
I spent the rest of the day in bed trying to warmup and in a depressive funk. James Wilder gave me a concussion and we were sitting halfway up the South Stadium for the game!
I was in 9th grade and this stuff meant the world to me.
But that Mich St. game a few years ago was arctic. It was such a great atmosphere the memories aren't so bad. I loved that one. Their players mocking our crowd and they hit like Mack Trucks. Deantonio was a great defensive coach. They played great villians.

Um no. This was discussed at length on Omaha sports radio how the split went. Braxton Miller won the media poll. Several team’s coaches were pissed at Urban.
Braxton Miller was a 2x league MVP and 2x league offensive player of the year before his shoulder injury limited his career.

Of the COACH’s poll. I already stated that and the vote was split up because of animosity towards some sh## Urban pulled. If I remember correctly there was another QB who got votes in the coaches poll. LOL at the idea the coaches would be less biased.
The question was whether or not he was first team all BiG TeN QB his junior year. And he was. And he finished second in the media poll. So why try to diminish it? You've spent over a decade disparaging this kid because you thought he was an odd duck. DOOFUS.
He is an odd duck A good friend of mine’s son was dating Lauren Cook’s roommate and knew him well. The best story was Cook’s mom bursting in to Lauren’s room and TM was in bed with her hiding under the covers. I wish TM nothing but the best.

The hiding under the covers wasn’t odd. Just funny. My friend’s son dated a volleyball player for a couple of years and was around TM a lot. He said he was a strange dude. Whatever. His own teammates used to get very evasive when pressed about TM. Good football player. Not socially very adept. That’s all.
I actually ran into TM and Cook out here in SoCal many years back. It's a shame TM never got coaching from Scott Frost as he would have known all the best hiding spots in those tight situations.
Did AM have multiple wins against top ten teams, beat Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State, and go unbeaten against Iowa? Yeah real dam hard to understand why TM leaves fans with better memories then AM. Really dude? 🤦♂️
