Another 4-star DE visitor. A QB N town

Naming schools after treasonous Generals leading an army in the preservation of slavery probably shouldn't be glorified by naming an institution of learning. The losing side doesn't get the benefit of the doubt simply because a poor decision was made ages ago. Still sad they celebrate Robert E Lee day in some states.

Yeah and I find it hard to believe that during Black Lives Matter they wanted to destroy statues in honor of Lincoln..... Go figure....

Just call them the "snortin Floyds" or some other woke name to make people feel good about themselves and their history. That will fix all of America's issues and lead to true equity in the workplace etc.

We have statues of George Floyd, convicted felon, drug abuser and overall model citizen. Surely a school out in west Texas can be called Lee

Both can be unnecessary
Where does it end? How many more hurt feelings will it take to stop attempting to cancel everything?

Just because people are offended, that doesn’t make them correct.

I talked to a tiger last week, he was offended that their name was being used as a mascot. He was particularly upset with the way Kellogg’s marginalized Tony THE Tiger and the way they have him portrayed on those cereal commercials.

What drugs do you have to be on to talk to tigers? I'll take 10.
