He was nicknamed "Cargone Jones" for a reason the moment Ohio State entered the fold with an offer on Oct. 30:

Carlon Jones decommitted on Tuesday night to give the Huskers a win-one, lose-one situation (he announced his decision less than two hours after Nebraska landed a massive recruiting win with 4-star OT Grant Brix's commitment). So, Jones is officially not N and it looks very likely that he'll be on the sideline opposite the Huskers on Oct. 26, 2024 when Nebraska and Ohio State battle it out in Columbus, OH next season.

His decommitment is an impactful one, but fortunately for the Huskers, it comes at a position of major strength personnel-wise and with a star-in-the-making leading the way as the position coach. Hit the link for some more details:
