Is anyone growing Hemp? I live at 8,000 ft. in the mountains of Colorado and there is a guy that has invested some serious money in a Hemp operation. Farmers in Nebraska raised hemp as a cash crop during WWII. From what I understand, Hemp plants and seeds are extremely expensive because of a lack of producers. I was in Canada this summer and saw several large Hemp Oil production facilities. Our county in Colorado does not permit growing or selling pot, but based on Colorado guidelines, Hemp is allowed. Seems like a better crop than corn or beans in terms of demand for water, yield per acre and of course price. Just wondering.
