All Session Big Ten Baseball Tournament Tickets on Sale Friday

Omaha, Neb. – This spring some of the best college athletes in the country and their fan favorite teams will be welcomed back to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha for the return of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament.

All session tickets for the 2018 Big Ten Baseball Tournament will go on sale to the general public at 10 A.M. (CST) on Friday, February 23, 2018. The tournament is scheduled to span five days, starting on Wednesday, May 23, culminating in a championship game on Sunday, May 27 at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha.

Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com, by calling 1-800-745-3000, or by visiting the CenturyLink Center Box Office. All session ticket sales are priced as follows:
  • Club Level – $55
  • Reserved – $50
  • College Student/18-under – $25
  • Children two and under will not need a ticket
The Metropolitan Entertainment & Convention Authority (MECA) and University of Nebraska-Lincoln are thrilled to co-host the Tournament this year through the year 2022.

I'm pretty sure ticket prices are $45 for non-Club Reserved, maybe that was a "presale" special. Throw in the $5 Facility Charge and $9 Service Fee per ticket, it's $59 if you simply have the tickets emailed to you (don't remember the prices for mailing physical tickets).

Plus there's a $4.25 processing fee per order.

Oops should have it mentioned here...
Only 11 sections were allotted for Husker presale...
not sure if other B1G teams got similar deals for sections???
But there are 12+ sections along the baselines,
plus grandstand, clubhouse seating and general admission
that were not part of the Husker presale, that still need to be released.
Plenty of real good seats will come available February 23rd.
GBR

So I took a quick glance this morning on how the ticket sales were going so far and there are PLENTY of seats available. As was previously mentioned, they only opened up the pre-sale to sections 107 - 117. Of those sections, I'd say there easily were still 90% of those seats available. As normal, most of the first 8-10 rows are gone but there are tons of seats left and the balcony is pretty much 99.9% available. With our pitching situation as it is, no guarantees we even make it to the tournament. Solid offensive team I think, and defense looks ok, but pitching depth, poor bunting/fundamentals at times, and a continuing lack of clutch hitting with men on base seem to haunt this team. If we don't do well this year and fall short, I hope Omaha still shows up for the tournament and not put any doubt into the minds of fellow B1G members that Omaha is where this tournament belongs PERMANENTLY.

If Nebraska ever doesn't make an 8 team Big Ten Tournament it would take a lot more injuries for it not to be blamed on coaching. This conference just isn't good enough to ever miss the tourney imo. With our overall talent and financial support there really isn't an excuse not to. Once again, that may just be my opinion.

Agree 100% with it always belonging in Omaha regardless.

That would also be the opinion of every thinking person.

I'll go further and say that our administrative and fan support is so strong we should expect to get into the NCAAs nine out of ten times. Eight out of ten and I pry wouldn't grumble too loudly.

So looking at where we've finished since coming into the B1G ...

2012 - 4th
2013 - Tied for 2nd
2014 - 2nd
2015 - 8th
2016 - 2nd
2017 - 1st

Using this as a reference point, one could understand why we'd believe 9 out of 10 times we should be in the Tournament. Considering that DE continues to grow in his Head Coach prowess, we'd all like to think our growth as a team should likewise continue. Personally I like DE. the dude's got fire, passion and integrity, the traits all of us yearn for with our Head Coaching leadership regardless of sport. As he grows in his knowledge/experience we hopefully will also grow. I'm excited to see where he can take us going forward.

I truly believe we should make the B1G tournament every single year no exception barring a massive tragedy like a plane wreck which I'm not going to worry about.

8-9 times out of ten we should get a NCAA bid. That is the quality of our program and the tremendous support it gets.

I don't what more the administration can do to support the program. I wonder what Moos thinks.

Don't want to be the guy that says I told you so, but ......

I didn't have an issue with your prediction. I still don't think there is ever an excuse to not make the Big Ten Tourney though. Especially at Nebraska. I think that is the point most were making. Technically you were wrong about the 'solid offensive team' part. Winking

I bought several sets of tickets for the Big Ten tourney. I will go no matter who’s playing but will certainly have to unload some. Anyone interested in a pair? Club seats. Front row right behind home plate. On the aisle.
